Top 10 Best Upbeat Wedding March In Songs | Ask AnchorBlanc Singapore
Updated: Mar 4
If you want an exciting March In for your wedding, you will need to choose from upbeat wedding march in songs.
Ladies, I know you are looking for a lively mood.
Guys, I know you want a march in worthy of a WWE Entrance.
Here are my picks on the Top 10 Upbeat Wedding March In Songs
Uptown Funk - Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars
This song sounds really cheeky and builds up the anticipation well with the bass line coming in first and the funky electric guitar coming in after that. Imagine the possibilities that could happen if you gather the brothers and sisters together to choreograph something together.. with you and your partner making a grand entrance right at the climax.
Dynamite - BTS
If you don't want something from too long ago, this is a really fun and contemporary upbeat song. Perfect to show your crowd that you are still hip and stylo mylo, okay?
Another plus point is, if you have any kids who are BTS fans in your audience, they might love your march in so much that they will share it with the BTS Army and make you famous overnight. (Just kidding. It usually doesn't work that way.)
I Want It That Way - Backstreet Boys
The boyband era was the cheesiest part of our childhood.
But this is, hands down, the cheesiest song of them all.
And that's what makes it so awesome.
Be prepared to be greeted with silly grins from your crowd if you choose to march in to this song.
Going at 99 beats per minute, you'll probably be able to manage to pace your way down the stage and wave to the crowd like a boyband at that speed, in typical Backstreet Boys fashion.
Sugar - Maroon 5
Now this is one sweet song to include for your wedding march in. (pun intended). Here's another cool song where you can get the brothers and sisters to help out with a dance or some simple upbeat choreography before both of you makes the grand entrance.
On Top of the World - Imagine Dragons
I guess "Upbeat" wedding march in songs covers a whole spectrum of emotions and energies, and I understand if you want something a little more chill, laid back, and chirpy. While this isn't really going to make your crowd roar happily like pirates in a mutiny, its still sounds happy, cheerful, safe, and just like a jingle.
痴情玫瑰花 - Under Lover
Literally translating to "Infatuated Rose(s)", this Hokkien song is so cute and so energetic! I don't think you are going to find this song in other lists of upbeat wedding march in songs. If you have a Hokkien loving crowd, you are going to rock the house down with this march in. Heads are going to turn once they hear this song's very iconic intro. Deliver the final blow and make your crowd erupt with laughter by swaggering in with retro coloured spectacles. (I was thinking of marching in with 99 flowers just like the song suggests, but oh imagine the budget involved just for that comedic effect)
Shape of You - Ed Sheeran
A great song for the adventurous due to the slightly PG 13 nature of the lyrics. Its so... naughty! If you don't want your grandmother to know that "the bar isn't the best place to find a lover so the bar is where you'll go", you might want to give this a miss. If however, you're like me and you really want to make it cheeky, take a look at the lyrics and give it a shot if it works for you.
恋爱ing - Mayday
Every time I beatbox to this song when Ferlyn sings, my jaw literally gets tired and sore. Its the fastest song in our list! Definitely energetic. The only thing is, if you are planning dance moves, this speed is almost too fast to choreograph anything (unless you are really advanced, or if your team of brothers and sisters are willing to go Dance Dance Revolution all over again.) At this speed, I feel it'll be more towards walking energetically and hyping the crowd as you march in.
That Thing You Do! - The Wonders
I have no idea why EVERY generation knows this song. So if you want to please your entire crowd at once, this is the way to go. And the best part is, the speed is manageable enough if you want to choreograph some doable dance moves.
Never Gonna Give You Up - Rick Astley
What is a Rick Roll?
Its a term we use nowadays to describe a situation where you prank someone to listen to Rick Astley in a completely unexpected situation.
I love this MTV because he looks like he kena forced to dance.
Happy - Pharrell Williams
I want to kick myself for reaching so far down this list before this song even crossed my mind, when the title is an obvious giveaway for something joyful and upbeat. Oh, come on Charles, seriously?
Bonus: One More Song! Butter - BTS
And so BTS makes it into this list TWICE. If you want to march in to a very strong and cool beat, this is the song for you. ! This band's songs also gives you the artistic license to wear eyeliner, guys. (My dad might faint, though.)
